Canal fluff

Posted by
Ruthiebear (Titusville, NJ, United States) on 2 July 2012 in Plant & Nature.

As I walked along the canal last week, I came across this pile of fluff - I am guessing it came from a duck as there are both white ducks and mallards who hang around the canal. Looks like great nesting material.

The fluff has a fine, delicate look that makes it very interesting. Immediately, the viewer (me) wonders who it is made of.
