Hot Air Balloons Part 2 10/11

Posted by Ruthiebear (Titusville, NJ, United States) on 6 September 2012 in People & Portrait.

WHen all of the air is out, and the balloon is flat, they fold it into a large sack. It is heavy so not easy to lift and stuff in.
I value your comments.

I bet it's pretty heavy! It's hard to believe that those huge balloons fit into a large sack. :-)) Nice shot, Ruthie!

Judy aka L@dybug from Brooksville, FL, United States

We've been watching for some days, now <grin> ... but how long does the stuffing process really take?

6 Sep 2012 12:50pm

@Judy aka L@dybug: Because the balloon is heavy and kind of unwieldy, the stuffing into the bag takes quite a long time. Having to lift it is difficult, especially for the youngsters. The men have to hold onto the sack, because it gets heavier and heavier as more of the balloon is folded in.

Another great shot the balloon must have been wonderful when in full flight.

You caught the outreached hand just right in the action. The shot has a fine sense of process and helps make it very intresting.
