Basile Pesso from City of Aminus, Paris, France

Superb size and sight.
Maybe without the right top part (the little white part), even better :)

4 Oct 2012 9:50am

@Basile Pesso: That is the sky - I did not crop this at all.

Basile Pesso from City of Aminus, Paris, France

Yes yes, I mean : maybe by erasing it or filling it with woods, it'll become even better.

4 Oct 2012 11:15am

@Basile Pesso: OH - I see, thank you for the suggestion. I am not real experienced at editing and do not know how to erase. I need to find a simple to use editing application. Thank you again.

Curly from South Shields, United Kingdom

An awful lot of blue hues in here Ruth, back in the old days we'd use a skylight filter to combat this. Now of course we need to look at colour balance to correct it.

4 Oct 2012 12:59pm

@Curly: Thank you. I wish I knew how to do that kind of thing. ANy suggestions for a simple to use editing application for MACs is appreciated. I use iphoto and not experienced enough to try photoshop

A beautiful panoramic shot of this river and the dense forests along its banks. The sense of "light" over the trees is very attractive.

Grand Panorama, love it,but if you want to play with it as some are suggesting, you could try Googles "Picassa 3" it's free and easy to use...I've been googling Lambertville (as it's my surname) nice looking place, thanks for the introduction . ;>)

4 Oct 2012 3:14pm

@Jeff: Thanks I will look into picasa 3. I have more images of Lambertville in my archives if you are interested http://ruthiemade.aminus3.com/archive/cityscape/

Wonderful panorama, but as others have suggested, a bit overly exposed. The greens are true to color for me ... too blue. I love the spot you found to take such a wide shot, though!

A suggestion: Paint.net offers a free download and has tutorials that help with hues and color balancing, etc. Similiar to Photoshop, but FREE and not quite as advanced. from my experience....user-friendly.

Lambertville is a GEM!
