Don't Rock the Boat

Posted by
Ruthiebear (Titusville, NJ, United States) on 26 March 2013 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

While hiking in Maine, we came across this boat way up on the shore, amid large rocks. Have no idea how it managed to get there. Happy Silly Tuesday!

For some reason, there were many great picture without looking left. Fortunately, now became seen. There's a boat is not easy to take to the water.

Happy ST:) I love that they took extra care to tie that boat down in case it should be caught up in a high tide.

That's a rugged place to have your boat! The water must have been very high or forceful to get this result.

Moorings ???. If the wind was to come up on a rising tide, they'd be carrying what would be left of that boat, home in a box...I like the shot though !!. ;>)

Hey, Ruthie. Good one for Silly Tuesday. You shouldn't have to drive boats up on the rocky shore just to get a good photo for ST, though!!!!

27 Mar 2013 3:43am

I guess they have to wait for the tide to come in before they go for a ride.

27 Mar 2013 4:32am

Jeremy from Ridgedale, United States

Yes, I agree that the overexposure works because it isn't overly overexposed :). Boats out of water are always interesting subject matter, I think.

27 Mar 2013 6:22pm
