I value your comments
Just curious - Do you
a) rate every AM3 photo you visit
b) rate only the best AM3 photos you visit with 5 stars
c) occasionally rate the best AM3 photos you visit
d) rarely rate AM3 photos you visit?
Just add the letter of you answer to your comment today, if you would not mind.

Yes I will come here every day, when it is possible. Here you can see so many interesting things that are almost forced to look at the pictures every day. This view says something about your home country, you can not see on TV. Am3 is a wonderful thing.

Amazing skyline and cityscape. The globe in front adds some extra interest.

B) for me. I always 5* it if it impresses me. I do wish this feature was used more. I often get people who say "Fantastic image 5*" but then when you check the image it's had no votes.

24 Jul 2013 11:49am

I like your highly-saturated image. That green is surreal! ;D
Our granddaughter ran a race on the old World's Fair site in Corona Park last weekend, so you've offered me an overview.

I am a B person, and DO click the stars. I was surprised at some of the replies you've received so far, and agree w/Ainsley's findings.

Phil Morris from Saskatoon, Toronto, NYC, Canada

D to me is the only one I really considered, why rate anyway what the other
person can't see of your rating. Ludicrous, unless its positive. I just love this
view of NYC, you give me a run for my money, exceptional photo !~

24 Jul 2013 5:40pm

Steven from Chicagoland, United States

D) I don't really know anything about the ratings. Maybe if I research them more. This shot, however, is a 5* shot. I love the framing--how you've included both the lush vegetation and the cityscape. Fantastic!

25 Jul 2013 6:26am

Julie L. Brown from Indianapolis, Indiana, United States

That is an interesting structure. Is that a park down there?
b) I rate great images with 5 stars when I remember to do it!

25 Jul 2013 12:05pm

@Julie L. Brown: Yes, a large park in QUeens. It is where the 1964 WOrld's Fair took place. GLobe is left from that event.

Basile Pesso from Barcelona, Spain

Fascinating greenery and excellent contrasts with the blue, plus an excellent composition.
I'm in the A category, I rate every picture that I comment. When I see a bad picture, I usually don't vote, except for a shocking one.
The rest of the time, I stop my votes under 3 stars, and I like to be generous, not like a teacher, I frequently give 5 stars, not waiting for a masterpiece to give 5 stars. Every excellent picture gets 5 stars, like this one, for example.

26 Jul 2013 12:26am
