Pennhurst 1

Posted by
Ruthiebear (Titusville, NJ, United States) on 8 May 2014 in Documentary & Street and Portfolio.

Last month I went to a Photo Workshop at Pennhurst . IT is located in Pennsylvania and is a former Asylum and State Hospital. It was a depressing place. The workshop was HDR and I used that setting on my camera to take all of the photos. DUe to the nature of these photos, I will mix them in with other images in the days to come.
This image was taken in a children's area.
I value your comments.

I've done it again (red face) sorry Ruthie.

9 May 2014 12:17am

Michael Rawluk from Williams Lake, BC, Canada

That would be a totally depressing place to be as a child.
The HDR could be a little more subtle (my opinion.) It looks a bit harsh. I do like the shot, though.

9 May 2014 3:00am

@Michael Rawluk: This was enhanced very little. My camera was set on HDR and the light was very strong in this spot.

Nelida De La Fuente from Tres Arroyos, Argentina
