Red Fox

Posted by
Ruthiebear (Titusville, NJ, United States) on 15 March 2018 in Animal & Insect.

Last Saturday morning as I was sitting at my computer I heard a disturbing noise. When I looked out my window I saw this fox on my front lawn. He was enjoying squirrel for breakfast. Being a vegetarian, I do not like to see any animal suffer. But I realize foxes have to eat. I took this with my cell phone through a window, so quality is not high. The foxes have lived in the area behind my back yard for several years and this is the first time one lingered long enough for me to get a photo.

It's part of life that happens so. I have sometimes seen when Fox filed a geese flock in the young bird's ateriakseen. There was no other way to look but it just goes.

Amazing that you managed to capture this with your phone. I have seen foxes but only from a distance.

Bouff! better that the image does not show the scene with all the cruelty. It's law of life, I know, but if I can save myself from seeing this, better.

Like you, I do not like to see any animal suffer, but also as you said, foxes have to eat. Nature can seem very cruel. You know I'm a big fan of foxes.

A very good "thru the glass" picrture of the elusive fox. Nature is touch when it comes to food.
