a well chosen texture for this rural scene. I can't tell whether it is a cell tower or a sideways sign poking out of the middle of the trees, but it is a reminder that the country is not as country as it used to be.

a classic old silo

in the 80's we were farming full time and had two, side by side. my husband used to have to climb to climb to the top to open and/or close the opening at the top and he didn't have one of those support cages to stand in. scares me just thinking about how tedious it was.

your treatment of the photo is exceptional and makes it feel older
