Thankful 5

Posted by
Ruthiebear (Titusville, NJ, United States) on 16 November 2018 in Lifestyle & Culture.

These are picture frames shaped like rocking chairs. IN them I have photos of my maternal grandparents. My mother grew up in Tennessee. Her dad was a share cropper. WHen we visited her family every summer, I have happy memories of my grandparents sitting in wooden rocking chairs. Though they had many grandchildren, I remember they always made me feel special and loved.
I value your comments.
This is a short series of images of being thankful. I know this is a photo blog, but this series is not so much about the quality of the photos, as the feelings they evoke in me.

What an unique idea! And since your memories of your grandparents include them rocking in rockers, it's a perfect fit. Love it. Great shot and wonderfully creative idea.

evocative is a great quality for a photo to have . I must confess to assuming they were full size for an adult and two children until I read the description :) I like the way you composed this
