O Christmas Tree 1

Posted by
Ruthiebear (Titusville, NJ, United States) on 22 December 2020 in Lifestyle & Culture.

2020 has been a different kind of year. WIth my husband's surgery and recovery we just did not think we could handle our usual live tree. I found a stick in the yard and we have our very own Charlie Brown Christmas tree. It sums up this year perfectly. We smile every time we look at it.
I value your comments
Thank you to those who have asked about my husband. He is doing well, though we still have no biopsy results. He is taking it slow, cannot lift anything and is on a restricted diet. I am truly grateful and appreciate your caring.

J'ai eu exactement la même idée. Pas de sapin cette année, seulement celui du jardin que tu pourras voir jeudi :)

doesn't it need one ornament to be a Charlie Brown? this exhibits a healthy dose of humor and acceptance. this Christmas we cut out most of our indoor Christmas because our grandkids are in Florida and can't come up for the holiday

That is a very appropriate tree for this year Ruthie! It is rather pretty too. I am glad that your husband is recovering well but I am sure that it is somewhat still an anxious time waiting for the biopsy results. My thoughts are with you.

L'anti-sapin de Noël, j'adore, dans la mesure ou je trouve cruel d'abattre des quantité monstrueuses de petits arbres en devenir, pour assouvir quelques jours de fêtes.
