Excellent framing.

A mill of yesteryear that only needed a little wind to work for free.

That is such a wonderful windmill, Ruthie. We have a windmill like that 5 minutes walk away and I get my flour there to bake our own bread. How nice that you also found such a wonderful landmark! Love the sky.
Have a wonderful day.

So it is a windmill so valuable that it is replicated.

funny to think of the Dutch influence in that part of the world
I guess old New York wasn't called "New Amsterdam" for nothing
I like the way you framed this with the sign and windmill in the scene

Great framing of the windmill against the beautiful blue sky! Its blades stand out nicely in white.

Glad you got both the windmill and signage in the photo. It appears that windmills have more than one use so that signage was useful and meaningful.

That must be so interesting to see it operate. I have never seen one before. Only mills that use water to turn the millstone. A beautiful image.
